- Connect to common data sources
- Understand Import vs DirectQuery at a beginner level
- Apply basic data preparation in Power Query
- Recognize query folding

Clean and transform data with Power Query
Clean your data for more accurate results and better-organized tables for report creation.
- Remove errors, nulls, and duplicates
- Change data types, split and merge columns
- Unpivot and pivot for tidy structure
- Combine queries from multiple sources

Design a data model
Introduction to the star schema — the optimal database design for speedy queries — and Power BI relationships.
