What to look for in PL-300 practice questions

Questions that only test whether you remember which menu option to click won't prepare you for the real exam.

- Include plausible distractors that require you to actually understand the concept

3 tips for PL-300 exam day
- Read the scenario before the options. The exam loves to put the right answer in a context where a near-miss option also looks correct. Understanding the constraint in the question (e.g., "without importing data") eliminates half the options immediately.
- DAX questions are worth spending extra time on. If you are unsure, work through the filter logic mentally. Most DAX errors come from misunderstanding CALCULATE's filter modification, not syntax.
- For case studies, read all the requirements first. Case study questions share a scenario document. Reading it once thoroughly before attempting any question in that section saves time and prevents misreads.
